I've taken a few courses prior to this one and I must say, I learned more with Juan Barrero/ Tampa Photography Group then anywhere else. Juan was very knowledgeable, he gave us assignments then sent us out to shoot, he then took time with each of us...it was great! I look forward to his next class.

We were in Darien,Georgia to photograph a Viking Re-enactment event at Ft. King George State Park. One night after shooting we went out to dinner along the River at a very nice seafood restaurant. I saw this old building and decided to shoot it. The light was almost dusk and perfect. I spent at least an hour shooting the building which I thought was really unique. This was shot with a Canon 5D Mk 3 and a Canon 24 /70 L lens. Always on a Tripod. The fort and museum at Ft. King George is a great

My friends and I went to the Everglades to go sight seeing and experience an airboat ride for the first time. While we were on the airboat, we stopped for a while to look for some alligators nearby. I saw this airboat not too far from us doing the same thing. I noticed the reflection of the sky in the water around them and snapped a photo.

Recently got back into photography and have been interested in learning how to do long exposure. I live very close to this location and when I saw the weather conditions I thought it would be a great opportunity to practice. I was actually really pleased with this particular shot. Unfortunately the pier is closed off due to damage from the past hurricanes. There are more opportunities at this location once it?s repaired.

I met young Miles at Ellis Square while he was doing some rather gymnastic break dancing. Luckily, for me, I was using my Nikon Z7 which allowed me to switch from raw to jpeg giving me 9 frames per second on motor drive. I was shooting aperture preferred and used f/8 the resulting shutter speed was 1/1600 of a second. 9fps sounds fast but I only had 6 nicely composed shots out of 120 exposures.

I had spent the better part of the day moving silently through the edges of the chase looking to photograph deer. It was one of those days that seemed perfect on paper: overcast skies that softened the light, barely a breath of wind, and a camera battery at full charge. But nature is nothing if not humbling. The deer remained ghost-like, unseen despite hours of quiet patience and soft steps.By late afternoon my hopes had dimmed so I began the slow walk back to the car. The path wound through
